Growing Up in Guwahati — My Story
From the green hills of Assam to building a creator career and my own brand — here's the journey so far.
I was born in Guwahati, Assam — a city surrounded by green hills, the Brahmaputra River, and a culture rich enough to fill a lifetime of stories. My twin sister Jeanette and I grew up surrounded by art, beauty, and ambition. She became an actress; I found my way to a camera too, just a different kind.
I started creating content as a teenager, and something clicked. The camera felt natural. What began as simple vlogs turned into a community of almost 200K on YouTube, and from there it just kept growing.
Assam shaped who I am — the warmth, the food, the traditions, the festivals. Every piece of content I create carries that with it. Whether I'm filming a GRWM, sharing a recipe, or vlogging a trip, there's always a piece of home in it.
Now I'm building Curva By Kerline, my own fashion brand rooted right here in Guwahati. It feels right — full circle. This is just the beginning.
