My Wedding Season Glam Routine
Wedding season in India is a whole mood. Here's how I get ready — from skincare prep to final look.
Indian wedding season is my absolute favorite time of year. The colors, the energy, the outfits — there's nothing else like it.
I start prepping my skin a week before. Hydration is everything — I double up on moisturizer and use a vitamin C serum every morning. The glow has to come from within before you even think about makeup.
For the base, I go with a long-wearing foundation because Indian weddings are not short events. We're talking 6+ hours of dancing, eating, and posing for photos. Setting spray is non-negotiable.
The eyes are where I go bold. Smoky eyes with a gold shimmer lid — it works with every traditional outfit, from a saree to a lehenga. I finish with a bold lip, usually in a berry or classic red shade.
Hair gets soft curls, pinned to one side. It's romantic, it photographs beautifully, and it holds up through the baraat.
